In-laws call Deepika as ‘Simar’
She said, ‘I believe that Simar will always be a part of me and will be alive inside me. I may have played this character for only 6 years, but it is with me till date. People still call me Simar in my in-laws’ house.

Deepika told that she wanted a break from acting for some time and so in the last 6 months, she rejected offers for some shows. When the call came for ‘Sasural Simar Ka 2’, she immediately said yes. Deepika said, “Whatever I am today is because of that show.”
Deepika met Shoaib in ‘Sasural Simar Ka’
