Bhojpuri actress Priyanka Pandit who recently hit headlines after an alleged MMS of her went viral on social media, on Thursday spoke to the media, breaking her silence on the matter. The Bhojpuri star whose alleged private video became the talk of the town recently clarified that she’s not the girl in the video and told the media that someone is planning against her while explaining that it is being done intentionally to tarnish her image.
People trying to tarnish image
Priyanka has alleged that people who are jealous of her success have made this foul clip and are circulating it to tarnish her image. She has added that they are doing this to tarnish her career graph. However, despite turning off the comments, Priyanka has been sharing her pictures and videos on social networking site.
Priyanka has lodged a complaint and has said she would get to the bottom of this. Amid all this, she shared a picture of herself and wrote, “It is best to be silent when one is dealing with idiots”.
Trisha Kar Madhu had lashed out at industry people over their silence. She had also slammed people circulating her video and asked them whether they would do this if the video were of their own sister or relative.
As per reports, Priyanka has filed a police complaint in the matter.
For the unversed, Priyanka has acted in several hit Bhojpuri movies such as ‘Pawan Putra’, ‘Ichhadhari’, ‘Awara Balam’, ‘Karam Yug’ and ‘Tod De Dushman Ki Nali Ram Aur Ali’ to name a few.
Currently, Priyanka has several films lined up including ‘Dil Mat Dena Meri Sautan Ko’, Raju Singh’s ‘Policegiri’ and a family-drama ‘Panch Mehariya’ co-starring Kishan Rai, Sanchita Banerjee, Gargi Pandit, Kanak Pandey, Nisha Dubey and Prachi Singh.
