TMC MP and actress Nusrat Jahan has been in the headlines recently due to her separation from husband Nikhil Jain. On June 19, 2019, the couple married in Turkey. The wedding took place shortly after Nusrat’s victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections. However, the wedding ceremony is regarded ‘invalid’ in India because it took place under the Turkish Marriage Regulation. Nusrat went on to say that her husband had ‘illegally’ accessed her bank accounts.
